For Elder Scrolls players, especialy the modders, would already know what ENBSeries is. Hell, even if you don't know it (yet), once you know about and what it does, you'd probably use it your game, especially for those who strive for graphical perfection. So...What is ENBSeries?

ENBSeries is 3d graphic modification for games like TES Skyrim, GTA 4, GTA San Andreas, Deus Ex HR, FSX, and many others. Created by Boris Vorontsov, it work by modifying render functions calls of the games and applying additional effects.

It's divided to generic versions and exclusive. First category allow to run it on thousands of games, not all effects will work, but you can try several versions of mod to find best suited. Second, exclusive types of the mod, are games specific versions which developed to work with some game and rarely with same game engine; In this case, i used the Saraan Suum ENBSeries for Skyrim.

Available effects on some ENBSeries are SSAO, SSIL, Depth Of Field, Lens FX, Bloom, HDR, Tone Mapping, Sharpening, Vignette, Sun Rays, Shadows, Detailed Shadows, Reflection and others in various versions of them.

Aside from ENBSeries,there's also ENBoost, a patch from ENBSeries which reduce memory usage of the games, so you may install much more modifications without crashes and errors, also it better utilize video memory of modern videocard.

Why should i use ENBSeries, you ask? Let's face it - how many of you guys that plays Skyrim in its truest, vanilla graphic? Then, compare those graphic with the ENBSeries' ones. In its vanilla form, the most blaring, annoying aspect of Skyrim still exist - Blocky faces, even with high-end PC...s in Skyrim

Lastly, ENBSeries is not essential, IF you're just looking for game play. However, if you're looking for game play AND graphical experiences, then, by all mean, use the ENBSeries to enhance your game play experiences and enjoyment.

You know guys, after all these years playing video games...I came to a simple yet factual question, "Is it just me, or is it every fresh, unmodded game made by Bethesda always start with  somehow sh*tty graphics?" I mean, just look at TES IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, or the newest, TES V: Skyrim. The most blaring aspect? Blocky faces, even with high-end PC...Goshdarnit Beth...However, all is not lost. See the picture below? That's an example of several mods in Skyrim

Why? TES series are also known as Modder's Paradise (I think it was started in Morrowind, and then getting better in Oblivion). Just look at how many Mods out there, ranging from simple interface changer to something that could be considered as mini DLC.

Most of the time, I used the mods that deals with visual improvement, texture and meshes optimizer and vice versa...So much that it once fried my other PC for good...I can say that, you're not really playing any TES before you first mod it. Mod it first, then play it.

And hell yeah. The PlayStation 3 version can be modded too, if you know how.
